An Italian fighting with rebels in Syria has been killed. 20 year-old Giuliano Ibrahim Delnevo from Genoa was a convert to Islam from a Catholic family, and is believed to be the first Italian jihadi to die in combat. He was under investigation for terrorist recruitment in Genoa at the time of his death.
