Amateur video which could not be independently verified by Reuters shows a truck filled with explosives.
The video, purportedly from a suburb of Aleppo shows a man getting inside the truck.
Aleppo is the latest front in a war that has already killed more than 90,000 people.
The man turns to the camera and says "God Willing, Victory is coming"
More footage from the same area shows appears to show an explosion.
World leaders from the G8 are calling for peace talks to be held as soon as possible. But so far no date has been set to end the conflict that has already gone on for more than two years.
