Is it safer to pay someone, or learn how to improve my credit score?
Is it safer to pay a professional, or learn how to improve my credit score?
I have been wondering how to improve my credit score. Like other hard working individuals, I have wondered if it was better if I pay someone else to try to correct the mistakes I have made in the past. Or, do I just do it myself? After all shouldn’t I use that extra money I would spend paying another company to correct my credit, on just paying down my debts?
It takes work to improve my credit score.
I know how to improve my credit score in some ways, but recently I found out that doing it all myself can not only be tedious, but costly. If, for example, I tried to just pay down my debts, this would only solve part of the problem if I have a bad credit score. Plus, if I just pay off debts that aren’t even mine, then I just wasted a lot of money that could be spent on other things – like investing or as a down payment on a mortgage, so that the overall interest I pay on a new home isn’t outlandish over a fifteen to thirty year time period.
