Al Qarra - Nearly 200,000 people have gathered on streets throughout Brazil over the last several days. The country that is hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup is experiencing its heaviest protests in 20 years.

Online social networks have played a large role in organizing the movement, which was mainly driven by youth and the middle class. Their grievances run from the rising cost of public transportation to the billions spent for the games.
