STORY: Dozens of people were buried by a landslide caused by heavy rains in China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday, state television reported.
The landslide hit Sanxi village, near Dujiangyan city, burying at least 30 people and 11 homes under about 1.5 million cubic meters of mud and rock, according to the Dujiangyan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, CCTV reported.
Rescue teams moved 340 tourists as well as villagers to safe areas.
Rescue efforts to find the missing people are underway.
