If rumours are to be believed, then TV actress Ankita Lokhande may bag her debut Bollywood project with Farah Khan's upcoming directorial film 'Happy New Year', and for this she apparently has to thank the lead actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Apparently the King Khan spotted Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend at a recently IIFA Awards in Macau. The actor felt that Ankita would fit the bill for the Maharashtrian protagonist perfectly in his joint venture with Farah Khan. Reportedly she has also signed the dotted line, and the announcement will soon happen.
Several names, including that of Katrina Kaif, have been doing the rounds, but looks like the newbie has bagged the coveted role. And if everything goes well, Ankita will be seen romancing with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Happy New Year'.
