SC rejects PIL to reduce age in Juvenile Justice Act

The Supreme Court has rejected a PIL that sought an amendment to the Juvenile Justice Act for lowering the age for trial of a juvenile accused. The PIL wanted the age of a juvenile accused in rape and murder cases to be lowered from 18 to 16 years.
