The project is designed to generate an alarm signal in the event of breaking of a wire in loop. The project uses a buzzer to alert the user. This system is built upon using a 555 timer in astable mode. A transistor is used to trigger the timer, whenever there is a break in the wire loop. In the project a detachable jumper is used as wire loop. If the same is removed it triggers the 555 timer which in turn triggers a buzzer making an alarm sound. The detachable jumper is used instead of a wire for demonstration purpose in this project.
