Polls for CCL Supernova 2012 are now up. Vote now through September 1 at midnight at http://cawchampionsleague.wix.com/cclsupernova2013.
After spending the 4th of July weekend in Miami, then crossing international borders, the CAW Champions League returns to the States, specifically the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, home of the soon-to-be-once-again Hornets. Now if they could only get Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson, and Muggsy Bogues, they'd be onto something.
-It was the perfect plan laid out by Joseph Matos: three challengers to Gregory Black's world title in stipulations determined by his opponents at Futureshock. The plan failed. Gregory Black's still the world champion.
-But...his body's still paying for it, as he went down—literally—in the steel cage match at Fanarchy to one of the three men he beat at Futureshock, Sherman Samson. How are they feeling following the two brutal wars?
-Matos' backup plan for a "Funhouse From Hell" match (a two-man elimination chamber) quickly went up in smoke when Eddie Mac announced that a fan vote will determine whether "Hollywood" gets in a more traditional six-man elimination chamber and his hands on his arch nemesis. How does he feel about it?
-Is Beth Phoenix right that there is no competition for the CCL Womens Championship?
Pyra? Pyra from Allure Wrestling? What the hell was she doing in a CCL event?
-And if she shows up again, will Christie Monteiro and Wonder Woman be looking for her?
-Will Meredith Clark find a price for Sushi-X to sell the CAW Champions League?
-Oh yeah, and who's in charge this week?
We'd tell ya what else is going on with this show, but honestly, we don't know. This has been the MO for the last three months. But we do know there will be a recap and fallout from Futureshock and Fanarchy somewhere.
