Germany is currently being sought out by more asylum seekers than for a long time. The Interior Ministry estimates that this year 100,000 people will apply for asylum. Those who come here are exercising a basic right, but it's difficult for towns and communities to accommodate the refugees. Königslutter in Lower Saxony is one of the towns that is having problems coping.
