Surveillance video shows gunmen in Colombia holding up a Bogota hospital to free a prisoner who was being treated inside, local media reported.

Masked, bearing large guns and wearing trench coats, they stormed the hospital as frightened patients and visitors sought cover.

The assailants supposedly got away with Alexander Urrego, a prisoner who was receiving a check-up at the hospital. They fired at the hospital as they fled, shattering windows.

Captured in 2011, Urrego was convicted for involvement in a gang killing.

According to local reports, a security guard and hospital officials sustained injuries.

Colombian newspaper La Opinion reported that police captured four men in connection to Urrego's escape.

A reward of some $15,500 U.S. has been put up by authorities in exchange for information that could lead to the prisoner's re-capture.
