Preity zinta was born on 31 jan 1975 to durganand zinta whos an officer in the Indian army but he died when she was 11 year.she did her schooling from jesus and mary boarding school in shimla.she like to play basket ball .she have done many commercials like perk chocolate and liril soap .she made her debut from film dil se along with SRK and manisha koirala.her 1st 2 films dil se and soldier were well received and earned her the filmfare best debutant.she showed versitality in her character by appearing in film kya kehna .her next film mission Kashmir and dil chahta hai was a huge success at box office but her chori chori chupke chupke and dil hai tumhara were unsuccessful .
