Pakistan is on edge once again.

Just days after a deadly earthquake flattened structures in the Awaran region, a 6.8 magnitude aftershock strikes.

The shock comes as residents are still digging up belongings from Tuesday's quake that killed more than 500 people.

Residents from the commercial capital Karachi felt this most recent aftershock.

Many people ran out of buildings and gathered on the street.

"I was busy at my work in the office. It was about 10, 15 minutes ago when suddenly my chair started shaking. At first I thought it was a delusion or a false feeling. But all my colleagues ran out of the office. The shakes were heavy."

Officials say it was likely that the aftershock caused more deaths.
