The dairy industry in Lithuania has been hit with a ban on imports into neighbouring Russia. Announcing the move Moscow's consumer protection agency pointed to quality concerns.
The sector is a vital source of income for the Baltic state and the Russian market accounts for around 85 percent of Lithuania's total dairy exports.
