Madrid, Spain, Oct 16 (EFE).- Spain's national football team has secured its berth in the 2014 World Cup with an easy 2-0 win in Albacete over an injury-ridden Georgia. Next year in Brazil, La Roja will defend the title it won in South Africa.
Spain has only missed one World Cup in the last 40 years, that was in Germany in 1974. Now they have both feet in Brazil and a new challenge on the horizon: become the only national team in history to win two World Cups and two European championships consecutively.
