I don't know whether its best to go bankrupt or ignore my debts and wait to be given a CCJ. I would like to pay my debts off, but at the moment its impossible. I wanted to know of either option would have implications to a career as an academic. Also, regarding funding for post-graduate qualifications I can't see a bank giving me a loan in 3 years time.
