I have already reached my limit for federal loans (FASFA). I can not get any more from the government in stafford loans subsidized or unsubsidized. I do not qualify for any grants ( Pell Grant, etc.)
My parents declared bankruptcy, so they cannot cosign for me. I have terrible credit myself, about a 530 credit score. I talked to the financial aid office at my school, and they told me my only option is an alternative private loan, i've applied for a few and was turned down by all of them. Are there any other options?
NOTE: I've already been turned down for the Parent PLUS loan, which raised my limits for stafford loans. I have already reached that raised limit. -
