ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION

Screaming and sobbing were the background noises to One Direction's appeareance in North London on Monday (November 18) as the five-piece boyband released their third autobiography at a book-signing event for fans of the hugely successful band. Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles all descended on Alexandra Palace, to the delight of their adoring public, posing for photographs with disabled fans before sitting down to sign copies of their new book "Where We Are". Styles, who most fans said was their favourite "1D" member, said he and his colleagues were still in awe of the reception their supporters give them three years since their formation. Two sobbing fans told a reporter they had been waiting what seemed like "forever" to meet the One Direction boys, while another described the experience as the best day of her life, before professing her love for Styles, like many of the rest of the girls at the signing.
