Not being paid for work? - I worked for this company for over 2 years, then without notification they closed and filed for bankruptcy in January. They didn't pay any of the employees, including myself,for their last two weeks of work. Months went by and they got bought out by a different company and are no operating again.
BUT everyone has been waiting for their paycheck and apparently all the money that was left went to creditors and the bankruptcy court. None was left for the old employees.
How is this even legal? We're not slaves here. -
