Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - How to enforce a court ordered judgment in a divorce? - I officially got divorced a couple of weeks ago and got a notice of judgment from the ex's legal representative. I was told that I had to wait for a judgment from the ex's side and then I can enforce it. By just reading the documents, it seems that I don't have to file or sign anything? I am in the state of California, can anybody explain the process of enforcing the judgment, do I need to return to the courthouse file paperwork? Also, I was told by legal advice that the ex could file for bankruptcy to get out of paying the judgment, is there anyway that I could check if the ex did file for bankruptcy. I had made a request to the judge to block the ability for the ex to use bankruptcy for not paying the judgment, but the judge didn't know what I was talking about?? My legal advice explained to me about this request and I was surprised that the judge had no clue as what I was asking the court. I might file an appeal, due to the fact this judge did not include other community property in the judgment..

Thank You -
