Perhaps one of the striking elements of the Iranian society is its spirituality and religiousness. Islam as the major religion has influenced many aspects of Iranian life and has been the official religion for many centuries; yet it has not wiped out the existence of other faiths nor their followers’ rights to freedom of religious practice. In Iran, four main religions coexist side by side and all enjoy rich heritage and history. Islam, Zoroastrianism, Christianity and Judaism are all practiced peaceably in Iran. Being the birth place of Zoroastrianism, Iran is home to the second largest Zoroastrian population after India. Christianity and Judaism have also deep historical roots in Iran with churches and synagogues scattered in many cities across the country.
In this movie we follow two researchers who travel to Iran to see for themselves the vitality of religions and the devotees in this land of God.
