At least twelve people are killed in two separate attacks targeting a government complex and a police building in Iraq Tuesday.
No one is immediately claiming responsibility for the attack. But Sunni Muslim insurgents regularly hit targets linked to the Shi'ite-led government.
Four members of the security services were killed in an attack on a police building in Tikrit. Earlier, nine people were killed in an attack in Tarmiya.
Authorities say the war in Syria is fanning sectarian tensions in Iraq.
