At the end of the first season when it seems the heroes have finally won, Derek Wildstar has nothing, no family on the Earth he saved to go back to, and his new family--Nova in a comma. For its time, this dubbing was quite edgy and it does not hold back any punches or tries to weaken its original Japanese counter-part.
