Madrid, 21 Dec (EFE).- Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti confirmed in Saturday's press conference that Gareth Bale will miss the game against Valencia at the Mestalla and will be replaced by Ángel di Maria after the Welshman was failed to recover in time from an injury to his left calf.
Since falling injured Tuesday, Bale has been unable to train with his teammates. Ancelotti confirmed that after missing the Copa del Rey game against Olímpic de Xátiva, the Welshman will also miss the last game of the year.
