The nominees, and the snubs, are in! The 2014 Oscar nods were announced Thursday morning and per usual, there were a few upsets. The Coen Brothers and their film Inside Llewyn Davis missed out on recognition, as did Spike Jonze for his critically acclaimed "Her." Perhaps the most surprising however, were the unacknowledged lead actors; Joaquin Phoenix for Her and Tom Hanks, who had two standout 2014 performances in Saving Mr. Banks and Captain Phillips.
