It would have been great if they had marketed this as a thriller about cave exploration. Imagine you're sitting through this film and you can feel the panic growing. All those caverns, that claustrophobia, the feeling of unease. The whole time you think this is the meat and potatoes of the film. Then comes the 45-minute mark. Introduce the Dwellers. Best twist ever. In all seriousness though, these creatures are about as fun as making out with a Xenomorph. They are wild, they are vicious, and they will rip out throats faster than MacGruber. What's really great about these little guys is that they live in a pitch-black cavern. So you can't actually see them until they're having you for brunch.
