2014-01-24 102 Dailymotion

Winston Churchill's V For Victory campaign that began on July 19th of 1941 was one of the most influential stunts of World War II (2). By throwing up the V sign, Churchill was able to get Britain and the rest of the Allied Powers to remember what they were fighting for. The V For Victory campaign spread quickly throughout the United Kingdom and was a great rallying cry for the Allied Powers. The V Sign could be found almost anywhere you could think of. Join Nicole of That Was History as she delves into the reasoning behind the V For Victory Campaign in today's episode.
