Fortunately no one was injured. The driver of the vehicle was a regular customer at the convenience store. He typically walked there for his visits, but for unknown reasons, decided to drive on the day of the incident.

The car was left stopped inside the building, in the section where the magazine display was set up along with the lottery ticket stand. The driver, whose name wasn’t made public, was able to walk home after the accident.

A towing company was contacted to remove the car. There was reportedly extensive damage to the inside of the store. The owner claimed it was mostly structural.

Although the shop will remain open for business, the front window had to be boarded up for security purposes.
