This adorable, yet unfortunate kitten named Stokings, was born with a rare deformity, because of which he could neither walk nor even stand. His hind legs were deformed, but fortunately, there were kind people who literally put the kitten back on his feet .
Employees of the animal shelter in Chicago paid attention to the kitten. Some would only shake their heads and say "poor little thing" and just go. But the shelter found a podiatrist who agreed to perform a few surgeries on the animal to make Stokings a normal cat. Assistant veterinarian Priscilla Cherry, who took care of the kitten, made him her home pet.
Now Stokings has a new life in the house where he is loved, and where he can run about freely as much as he wants to.
