Violence spreads in Bosnia-Hercegovina

It's the worst civil unrest since the end of the 1995 war.

Demonstrators across Bosnia set fire to government buildings and fight with riot police.

Here in Zenica -- in the Croat-Muslim Bosniak half of the country -- protests are largely contained but gaining intensity.

But across the country hundreds of people have been injured in three days of protests over high unemployment.

It began in the northern town of Tuzla with protests over the closure of factories, that had employed most of the local population....then quickly spread.

In the capital Sarajevo police used rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannon to quell the violence.

Protesters are demanding the government resign because of what they say is the inability of politicians to tackle the country's problems.

About 40% of Bosnians are unemployed.
