Nagesh Avadhany presented ghazals of Javed Azhar at the Urdu Academy of North America event held to pay tribute the prominent journalist, writer and poet. Azhar Javed was the founder editor of a popular literary magazine, Takhleeq, published from Lahore. The literary event was held on February 16, 2014 at Chandni Restaurant, Newark, CA.
