I hope this helps you when getting stuff from outside to put in your cages!
For sanitizing Rocks:
Scrub with Soap and Water
Then Rinse well
Next let soak in distilled white vinegar
Rinse well again
and let air dry
Sanitizing branches (Baking):
*Make sure Branches have never have been exposed to chemicals or pesticides*
First Remove any lose Bark and leaves
then bake at 200-250 Degrees F for 2-3 Hours
Sanitizing Branches (Boiling):
Cover branch in water and boil for 1 hour for each inch of thickness
(Water will turn brown, this is normal)
And Lastly Let Air dry
Sanitizing Sand:
Sift the sand throughly
then Bake for 15 minutes at 350 Degrees F
Let Cool
