Recent comments from senior Israeli cabinet members expressing skepticism over a two-state solution, have prompted angry responses. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of trying to avoid peace while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to distance himself from the comments.
