"The Grandmaster" swept the board with 12 wins at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
The martial arts fantasy won best movie and best director, along with a host of other awards, for director Wong Kar-wai.

China's Zhang Ziyi took home the award for best female actress for her role as the daughter of a kung fu master .

"'The Grandmaster' has brought me lots of awards. This is my ninth award. There is an old saying in Chinese that nine and nine becomes one. I think this award brings me a new beginning to keep working and try to make better movies with great characters."
