The African National Congress (ANC) has officially been declared the winner of South Africa's General Election.
Official results, which have been announced at a ceremony in Pretoria, cement Jacob Zuma's presidency for another five years.
According to the results, the ANC fell short of a two-thirds majority, taking 62 percent of the vote.
It has taken 249 seats in the national assembly, losing 15 seats. That's the fewest it had since democratic elections were first held 20 years ago.
