U.S. President Barack Obama surprised people on the streets of Washington, D.C. on Monday (June 9), during an unannounced afternoon visit to a Starbucks near the White House.
On his way out, Obama greeted onlookers along Pennsylvania Avenue.
In response to a reporter question about what he was drinking, Obama said, "just some tea."
He was accompanied by his chief of staff, Denis McDonough.
