what is the American dream
but the house on the hill
with no doors, but large windows
it has a sweet smelling rose garden
that draws in bees from afar
but they can't get past the white
picket fence, that has no gate,
that can not be crossed
that which entry into can't be bought
even if it could, the golden ticket
like the dream, would be a facade
