In night we fall, back to our land,
Life we see, dims again,
Dreams are telling what we are told,
Nightmares of dreams, Children's Fear,
All we see, Knights of dreams,
Our guilt is poured on and punished by night,
Our sorrow we touch, the lost part of souls,
And Mothers could hold the hand of their child,
As Nightmares steps in, Everything goes black,
Bleeding people, seen in our sins,
Conscious unclean, nightmare sets in,
Shadows hanging over our dreams,
Dear night love, Dear knight of the night
The end of our life, could be near,
but the nightmares we go through proves our worth -
Of how we live knowing what we've gone through
In night we might fall, into our nightmares,
but they define our hearts, and define our souls
might they stop, the night might seem bright,
but our hearts will never have learned of all the bitters
The bitters of life,
The bitters that held us strong,
The bitters that made us the better man.
