When my heart grows weary and feels like it has been crushed beyond repair
I dropp to my knees and tears for mercy fall like rain
My heart opens wide and I ask Him to share
His mercy and love and take away this pain
I go to Him in time of need or thankfulness
When life is too much and I need a hand to hold
Grace, mercy love and forgiveness
In his word I can receive what He has told
Through Him and with Him
I am repaired and healed
And life no longer seems dim
He is my hope and the promises are revealed
That he will never leave me
And never place more on me than I can bare
The eyes of my heart are opened and now I see
No other can help me, no other can compare
He mends my heart and I can go on
Facing the world and knowing He will never leave me
A new day dawns
And once again my soul is at peace and I am free
