For 5 long years you've stood alone,
Laughter and tears a sad lonely time,
My god 'Mum' how you've grown,
Decorating, Gardening and learning to drive,
I feel for you! every day of my life.
I wish I knew? how you plod along,
Maybe in tune to an Elvis song,
I feel your agnuish, I feel your pain,
and every day must be a strain!
You've learnt so much,
You know it's true,
How come? when I call; you smile,
when inside your feeling blue.
You keep so! much locked away,
You want to talk,
but don't know what to say,
It's hard for me, you know it's true,
Coz just like you I'm feeling blue.
Your living your life; day to day,
Hoping and longing, each night you pray,
That your pain will be gone
there will be no more,
but 'Mum' we can't help you, no matter how much you abhor.
It's up to you to carry on this way,
Loving your cat's, home and family,
You've come this far, so don't give up,
There's nothing I can do, show you or say!
I'm Proud of you Mum! and will always be
Losing Dad is the hardest thing; anyone can see.
Your achievements are great,
Your sights are high,
Your winning 'Mum' I'm sure you can see that,
Your children love you and rely on you and so do your cats,
Your 'AMAZING' Mum.
Do you know that?
I love you and need you,
but life is your choice,
Your family are here for you,
but remember your voice.
Stand up and be counted
For you are our 'MUM'
and in the eyes of us all
You are No.1
I love you Mum, as we all do.
Dad is in our hearts, but seeing you brings us closer.

Love always
