Falling apart, emptiness and hurt is all I’ve got
I once thought your love would be the love that could change that
Its ironic how we hurt those that love us
Time doesn’t heal a broken heart
Cause mine was broken from the start
You left without a goodbye, to this day I don’t know why
How that smile could put butterflies in my heart
How I long to be back in your arms
The rains falling so stunning so pure, if only you were here
If only it hadn’t been that night, if only you hadn’t gotten into that fight
They still say that it was never supposed to have ended the way it did
But that’s not the point
I lost the only special thing in my life
