As I burn all that reminds me of her,
My heart beats to the tune of her most
Favorite song, wind whispers, a whisper
Of her name. Causing my mind to come close,
Close to madness. As the insanity
Consumes me, I feel I’ve lost all hope, but
When I felt I reached the brink I dearly
Held on and my insanity was cut
Short. Twas slowly replaced by my love for
Her and a new found respect for the man
That betrayed me in this never-ending war.
Now I’m left without so much as a plan
And with nothing in me left there to grow
I keep walking with no place left to go
