I tried to smile
But the pain won't leave my heart…
And after a while
I'’ ll remember our time
Then I remind me you have gone…
It's so hard to tell my heart
Even soulmates sometimes part
And leave their spirits all broken…
It's so hard to mend my heart
I just don'’ t know where to start
Travel this road we'’ ve chosen…
I look up the sky
As I wondered why
The love we have had ended
And although I try
I just can’ 't help but cry
The tears just keep on falling
It's so easy to pretend
But at night the pictures end
And the colors fade to sadness
It's so easy to get by
Yet somehow my eyes just cry
As the paintings turn to madness
Just for a while
I wanted to smile
But the pain stays in my heart
And hard as I try
My eyes just start to cry
As the dream around me flickers… … …
