Today, I thought I'd hang around my room
The way that America has me right now
I'm trapped
And there's nowhere I want to go
Painting and writing are some really good friends
Yet in my heart
I can't wait for my unemployment to end
I can't wait for that special phone call to come
Only then
Will things in my life feel like a godsend
