Canadian beverage company Vampt has crafted Lean Machine, what it's calling a "recovery ale." Packed with electrolytes, vitamins and protein, it supposedly will help your body recover from your workout, as well as being (a TEENSY BIT) alcoholic. It's all an effort to reach the young, health-conscious market. Sounds like a good plan, as long as no one was planning to reach the actual current market of beer drinkers.

In slightly better conceived beer-related news, a new site called Beerviz has launched, to help you pick a beer, based on beer you already know you like. Consider it homework before your next pub crawl.
