Its true that I was stupid and that I was naive,
And that I took what we had for granted,
But are you going to condemn me forever,
Are you choosing not to be my friend anymore,
When a true friend would look passed my stupidity and stand by me,
I understand how hard it is to be so close but yet so far,
But I really thought you understood me,
Its not all my fault things are the way that they are,
I reach out but you put your arms out to ban me from your inner space,
I don't know how to heal this,
I wasn't ready and i understand now that you couldn't deal,
We both know that things happen for a reason,
And that we both have evolved into better people since then,
but yet still the same,
I still love you, It may not be the kind of love that is needed but its from my heart,
And when you banished me from your life I was hurt and I still am,
I still consider you my friend even though your approach to certain things was harsh because you know me better than most,
I think you only tolerate me now because of petals we share,
But that's ok cuz I'm glad you even considered me,
This gives me hope that we can have what we once had.
