She silently watches the people go by.
She spies on them picking their noses!
She sees all their foibles, their laughter their cries
and watches them trip over toeses.
Some are so funny and some are so sad
some are so dozy and some are so bad,
scratching their arses they dress to impress
except for that man in his worn out, string vest.
She is alone in her bedroom
watching the world go by.
She'd join in the fun if they'd let her
but they reckon she's waiting to die.
Nevertheless they amuse her,
she giggles and cackles away
except for each week on a Thursday
when her son takes her out for the day.
