they crashed.
They bought the latest, designer clothes.
He had holes in his socks for his toes.
He sat on the sidewalk
when it poured with the rain.
They huddled inside
with coffee, and sat, and complained.
They bought the latest plasma TV.
He watched the news on the box
in the windows of the high street shops.
They said he was 'a bit strange'.
He went for a walk
and never came back
the man with no umbrella or hat.
