When this whole charades is already through

The nerves of you to say you love me?
To try and justify your infidelity?
The nerves you have to try and make me see
That where I am there your heart will be
The nerves you have to give me heartache
But now you know that my heart you cant break
The nerves you have to make it all a game
I swear! You are so totally lame
The nerves you have to try and make me cry
But now you know that Ill get by
You were the one crying that night
Thinking that I was going to put up a fight
I dont fight for things that no longer matter
Plus I dont want to be with a liar
I cant stand people who dont know their own hearts
But I guess this is where the road parts
I cant believe you have the nerves to say
All those promises you made that day
You have the nerves to ask me to stay
But you should have known that my answer would be, NO WAY
I thought my love for you will keep you
But I guess what I thought wasnt true
And then you have the nerves to say you want to marry me
Is there a label that says stupid that I cant see?
You also had the nerves to promise me tomorrow
When all you planned on giving me was sorrow
Im still confused about all that went on
Yet Im just relieved that now its gone
I still cant believe that you had the nerves to play
But now what more can I say?
You played with fire and I warned you
That my momma didnt raise no fool
Just know that I aint waiting for you
And whatever it is, Ill get through!
