I bow my head and join my hands
And humbly I pray
From where shall I begin to thank you, Lord,
On this Thanksgiving Day
You manifest in the air I breathe, in the water I drink
In the fruits laden on all the trees
In the sun that shines, the moon that glows
And in the whisper of the breeze
I’m caught up in the mundane, Lord
You know better than me
Forgive me, I fail to make time for you, Lord
But, I have none else than thee
Thank you for all the good you gave me
It made me a little happier
Thank you for what was seemingly bad
From this I became stronger
I thank you for every moment of Life
While awake or in slumber
I extend my gratitude beyond Thanksgiving Day
Not only to the fourth Thursday every November
